Upcoming Spring Events for the Irish Business Organization of NY

Based in New York, Gregory Shanaphy is a wealth advisor with more than a decade of experience in wealth management. In addition to his career in investments, Gregory Shanaphy spent nine years in the law profession. In spite of his demanding career, he still makes time to participate in a large number of professional and community organizations. Among the professional groups of which Greg Shanaphy is a member is the Irish Business Organization of New York (IBO). The IBO hosts and participates in a variety of events throughout the year, including upcoming events like the 2015 Concern Spring Run in April as well as the 2015 IBO Golf Classic in May.

The Concern Spring Run will be held April 11 in New York City’s Central Park, in conjunction with the U.S. chapter of the international organization, Concern Worldwide, Inc. The run/walk event lasts four miles, with an expected crowd of more than 1,300 working to raise money for fighting poverty for Concern Worldwide. The IBO will assemble a team to participate.

Additionally, the IBO will be hosting its annual golf tournament, the IBO Golf Classic. Held at Pelham Bay Split Rock Golf Course in the Bronx, the tournament will take place May 4. IBO members have the option of serving on the 2015 event committee for the Golf Classic.

The IBO is a non-profit organization founded in 1973 that represents the community of Irish business professionals in New York and surrounding areas.
